About North-West University 

• North-West College is proud of its contemporary, well-equipped facilities that are designed with the student in mind.
• North-West College (NWC) was founded in 1966 by Marsha Fuerst. Mrs. Fuerst’s family has been involved with allied health since the early 1950s. Mrs. Fuerst’s son, Mitchell Fuerst, still owns and manages North-West College. The Fuersts’ enthusiasm for career education and the purpose of providing high-quality, relevant training is one of the College’s guiding principles.

How to Apply NWU online 

The steps outlined here are for candidates to take in order to apply to North-West University.

Step 1: Getting a student number

If you already have a student number, please go to step 2.

• Kindly go to the online application platform 
• Click on New application
• Complete all of the fields after clicking on Create new student number.

Step 2: Log in

• When you receive a student number, enter it along with the PIN number you established to log in.

Step 3: What do you want to study?

• Please fill out all of the fields. Utilize the yearbooks to learn more about the credentials, modalities of delivery, and curriculum.

Step 4: Upload supporting documents

Undergraduate students

Please provide the following supporting papers in order for us to assess your application. If the application is incomplete, the University may reject it:

• If you have previously passed matric, you must provide your grade 12 results, Grade 11 results (final results only), or a copy of your matric certificate.
• Applicants who are currently in the process of improving their grade 12 results will be evaluated only when the improved results are provided to the NWU.
• Applicants who pursue the Cambridge, GED, or any other non-NSC curriculum, or who may be exempt due to older age or post-school credentials, must present a USAF exemption certificate.
• Completed undertaking
• Copy of your ID
• Copy of your academic record (if applicable).
• Additional documents for international prospective students:
  • A copy of relevant results
  • A copy of your passport
  • More information on payable fees

Postgraduate students

• Completed mandatory undertaking
• Copy of your identification Copy of your academic transcript (if applicable).
• Additional paperwork for potential overseas students:

Step 5: Submit application

• Please ensure that you hit the Submit application button when you are finished to ensure that your application is received.
